Dr. Dela Weeks-Morris

Dr. Dela Morris is a dynamic educational leader and passionate advocate for equity and justice. With over 25years of experience in education administration and leadership development, Dr. Morris has dedicated her career to building systems that uplift communities and empower future generations.
She currently serves as the Program Administrator for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, where she leads a Customer Assistance Program that helps ensure access and support for vulnerable households. Her expertise in equity-driven strategy and operations has shaped impactful programs across both corporate and educational sectors.
Dr. Morris is the Education Chair of the NAACP Oakland Branch and has held leadership roles with the City of Vallejo Human Relations Commission, the Vallejo Alumnae Chapter, and the Farwest Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is also a dedicated member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield, California, where she serves as Scholarship Chair.
Dr. Morris earned her Doctorate in Community College Leadership from Morgan State University, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University, and a Bachelor’s in Management from the University of Phoenix.
Outside of her professional and service roles, Dr. Morris is a proud mentor, a grandmother, a loving wife to her husband, and a devoted dog mom to Apollo Creed and Agojie Chika. She finds joy in traveling, community engagement, and exploring new eateries.
