Vallejo Police Department Arrests December 19, 2022, Graffiti Suspect

Vallejo, CA - On December 19, 2022, Vallejo Police Department Officers responded to multiple calls for service regarding threatening messages towards President Biden and President Obama being spray painted on structures across the city.


The graffiti was spray painted on private property and public property. The city of Vallejo's Corp Yard removed the listed graffiti numerous times. 


The suspect, later identified as Thomas Dale Hughs, continued to spray paint the structures after the city removed his graffiti. Thomas Hughs caused over $1,000 in destruction to the city of Vallejo.


On December 23, 2022, Vallejo Police Department officers located Thomas Hughs in Vallejo and arrested him. Thomas Hughs admitted his listed actions after being Mirandized. 


Thomas Hughs was booked into the Solano County Jail.
