VALLEJO, CA- On January 18th at approximately 11:44 AM, Vallejo Police Officers responded to a report of a person in a marsh area near the 200 block of Wilson Ave. 

Upon arrival, Officers located an adult female deceased in the water. The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division responded to take over the investigation. The motive and circumstances involving the death are under investigation at this time.

This is the 2nd homicide in the city of Vallejo in 2023.
